Fishing Gilling Beck

We fish for trout and grayling using artificial flies with barbless hooks and operate a mandatory catch-and-release policy. Coarse fishing is not allowed.

This is small-stream fishing and generally calls for a short rod, light line and waders. Access can be challenging, particularly in summer, and successful fishing often depends on a quiet approach, careful presentation and a little patience. A short tenkara rod can also be highly effective.
